Complete Catalog of Boeing Aircraft Company (BAC) Standard Parts

The Boeing Company produces aerospace and defense components. They employ approximately 137,000 employees in the U.S. and have contracts with over 20,000 suppliers and partners. In order to create standardization, increase efficiency, and ensure compliance with design and safety requirements, they created their own list of standards. Every Boeing part has standards that specify exactly how a part is to be manufactured and tested.

Industry leaders and regulatory bodies are often extremely collaborative when drafting standards because safety development strategies benefit everyone in the industry— including governing bodies, engineers, partners, employees, consumers, etc. Because of this, Boeing will often work with others in developing BAC standards.

BAC standards are individual to Boeing parts; they are not used across the industry like MS or NAS standards.
