Complete List of National Aerospace Standard Parts

National Aerospace Standards (NAS) are developed and published by the Aerospace Industries Association (AIA). Experts from various fields across the industry come together and work on creating these voluntary standards in order to increase safety and regularity in the systems and materials used in aerospace applications. The NAS library has over 1,400 active standards at the moment. Aviation Hardware components are the most commonly known high-quality NAS parts.

AIA has coordinated with the U.S. DOD to convert over 500 MIL-SPECs to NAS. Parts that qualify as an NAS part carry either the prefix “NASM” or “NAM”.
